We just got back from our first long trip in our little Casita. We saw some beautiful country and were able to visit with Jill and Jason for a few days in Kansas City and then in Wyoming we stayed with some good friends who moved from Texas about 40 years ago.
It was nice to escape the Texas heat for a few days and enjoyed very cool temperatures in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. In the higher elevations we saw beautiful yellow and orange leaves.
Another highlight was our visit to Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota. We stayed nearby at a campground in Custer State Park which was just beautiful.
Thank goodness for digital cameras because I would hate to have to print all 1500 pictures that we took! We got carried away sometimes taking pictures and just couldn't stop.
It was nice to get back home and I'll post a few more of our pictures soon.

That's a perfect picture of Mt. Rushmore with a beautiful bluer than blue sky. Can't wait to see more pictures of your trip.
