Decorah Eagles - My Kind of Reality Show!

This is a very interesting site to check out. I find myself spending too much time here and the eggs haven't even hatched. I've learned how to tell the difference between the Mom and Dad and admire their patience as they take their turn just sitting for hours at the time.
The camera was installed by the Raptor Resource Project in the fall of 2010 and is being viewed by thousands of people around the world. The nest is located in Decorah, Iowa. It is about 6 ft. wide and 6 ft. long and about 80' high in a cottonwood tree. Raptor Resource Project is a nonprofit organization that promotes the preservation of falcons, eagles, ospreys, hawks, and owls.
They are sitting on 3 eggs with a tentative hatch date for the first one on March 25th.  Can't wait to see how they care for the little ones.
The only thing bad is that there is a commercial every now and then but it's still worth it to get to see the eagles up close.
